When I showed up for my haircut my barber excused himself to go across the street and get some tea, and before he left I asked him if I could take some more pictures of his shop. I used the Nikon to record
this place a few months ago. He said sure.
It is called
Mystic Haircutting on lower Haight in San Francisco. And this was my most recent trial of the Diana without the tripod. As much as I have shortened the shutter speed, I need to shorten it a little more if I want to go on using 400 speed film which I do.
But in a different way it's irrelevant how much these pictures could be refined, because they are suffused with affection.
