These cut flowers are the by-products of a day of East Bay gardening. Pots of pansies got swapped for pots of marigolds, and the last remaining pansy blossoms were salvaged for indoors when their leggy, dessicated parent plants went into the Green Waste bin. Something similar happened with the stately golden roses at top.

Style Bubble was serendipitously floral-themed for the day as well, with many pictures of a floral-print dress-up event at the Liberty store in London. People are noticing that summer is ending, and the bits that remain had better be flaunted.
