When I came out of the underground MUNI station at Market and Castro Sunday morning the rain was just ending. A blue sky appeared, but only briefly.
The small trees on terraces behind this MUNI station continue (as seen earlier
here) to be the best local source of traditional autumn color.
The damp and dark soon closed back in over San Francisco, though no more real rain fell. Instead of the usual gigantic Rainbow Flag flying from the gigantic flagpole above this MUNI station, the
Leather Pride Flag flew today at half mast. This is the custom when a prominent local leather-identified individual dies.
