Mabel Watson Payne is wearing the black-and-white jumpsuit I got her in Rome. She has grown into it faster than expected. People admiringly say that it makes her look like a wee janitor.
A small project this past week was adding ribbon ties to the madras sunhat I found at Cliff's. Also installed small bits of velcro to hold the ribbons together. It seems to fit now, in its copious way.
This sort of illuminated blurry look is everywhere to be seen in our current design epoch. And in my own desultory and offhand way I have been trying it out when occasion offers -- which explains the picture above -- but I cannot be honestly comfortable inside such an alien style.
