Last month I read reports (

here) about New York City Ballet's current production of Balanchine's
Apollo. Chase Finlay had been promoted into the title role from the
corps at age twenty.
This month the
Venice Biennale opened. Looking at some of the coverage, I came across a ballet-themed video installation by Elad Lassry. It didn't take long to notice that the blond dancer was the same, the one from
Apollo.
Next, he popped up in a
Paris Vogue fashion spread by Bruce Weber. Ballerina Larua Love actually performed the work of wearing the clothes, but Chase Finlay received top billing anyway.
