The reason bath-time pictures are a little clearer than formerly is that I acquired a handy monopod to stabilize the camera. It works where there is not room enough to use a tripod. Mabel is fascinated with the monopod. She likes seeing how it attaches to the camera. She likes seeing how it extends and retracts. She likes saying the word
monopod.
On Friday night at bath-time I had not intended to be taking pictures. We had already taken plenty of pictures at the playground, I thought. But Mabel suggested I ought to use the camera so that she could watch me attach and set up the monopod.
