Prada sent the Fall/Winter women's collection down the Milan runway a couple of months ago – but I only actually looked at it today, after stumbling upon the visually arresting shoe-photo above and tracing it back to its source.
Journalists were generous about this show, even though everything in it had been seen many times before. It was three decades' worth of Miuccia Prada's greatest hits, the kindly press declared.
What they did not say is that the fashion conglomerate she controls brings in more than two billion euros per year. With revenue-power like that, could Prada receive a bad review at this point? Perhaps not. Probably not.
