Haight Ashbury

The intersection of Haight & Ashbury. There used to be a GAP store on this corner, and it closed, and the lease got taken up by RVCA. While the space got remodeled for the RVCA store, AMAZE (or Josh Lazcano) got commissioned to execute a temporary piece on the facade, captured here during its brief but conspicuous life.

The 33 MUNI bus turns off Haight at this spot onto Ashbury and climbs the hill on its way over to the Castro and the Mission. On most afternoons I am ones of its passengers. The view through the bus window gave me a frequent and excellent persepctive.
