Many of these old-world artifacts were photographed in Prague – preserved and passed on by the reliable and idiosyncratic photographer whose work wanders in many directions but appears in one common location here. Book spines at top in Turkish. Jigsaw puzzle at bottom might be slightly complicated for my granddaughter just at present – though I know she would want to assemble the small black dancing dog first thing. Mabel has a jigsaw puzzle now with a simpler picture and about half as many pieces. She can do that one with only a little help.
