These photos were taken Monday while I looked after Mabel Watson Payne in the afternoon. But then when I got home early that evening it turned out I had failed to bring home the camera. So I waited to retrieve it until this afternoon when it was time for another good visit with the baby.
In the sequence above we were playing an elaborate game involving the flexible black-and-white plastic tripod that has recently migrated into the toy box. My granddaughter was the one who understood the rules of this game and I simply tried my best to follow along.
