The camera was set to black-and-white when I arrived on Friday afternoon,.so I left it on black-and-white and took a few pictures while Mabel Watson Payne inspected the possibilities of a plastic camera attachment as a bracelet. I would have taken more pictures in black-and-white, except that Mabel noticed on the camera screen that the pictures didn't have color. And I showed her how I could switch the camera from black-and-white to color. She took a great interest and asked many questions. After that, I just stayed with color by default.
