Unknown Roman Artists

Romulus & Remus with She-Wolf

Agents scouting Italy for George III in the mid 18th century bought up many, many albums of 17th century drawings. Even today, hundreds of these remain in the Royal Collection, unattributed.

It is known that all the drawings here were made in Rome at some point during the 1600s, but not by whom.
