Teeth
The picture immediately above is (I believe) the first one I have taken of Mabel Watson Payne where her two sharp and lovely teeth are fully visible. She is happy to let people touch them, but generally reluctant to let people see them.
Until recently she would not tolerate spending more than a minute or two on her stomach, but with the Mobility Project now such a pressing priority, there is much more willingness to see what can be discovered at this level of observation.
Her tiny homemade bedroom, by the way, is currently featured in the children's section of that fine online shelter magazine, Apartment Therapy. My daughter sent them photos some while ago and is highly entertained by the many laudatory comments reader/viewers are making.
