Kittens for Mabel

This lithographic series of white kittens acting out their jolly natures in front of red draperies first went on sale in the United States during the 1850s. The Library of Congress has nobly preserved and digitized them. I send them through the ether especially for the delight of Mabel on a bright chilly Sunday in San Francisco. She came into my mind as soon as I saw these pictures, and I know she will have opinions and observations about all the different kitten activities.
