Afternoon Garden
My daughter's white rose (above) is well launched into its second bloom, while the pink one (below) is still lingering at the end of its first cycle.
Shrub in pot (above). Variegated leaves and blue flowers. Did not take sufficient note of its name. Did not save the convenient tag with the name printed on it. Do not really care.
It looks like a 1960s op-art fabric print.
Sweet peas, violas & nearly-invisible daisies segregated & regimented (along with fern fronds) into separate orifices of this small vintage three-legged yellow-glazed pottery receptacle.
The first cosmos seedlings planted back in April went nowhere, but this second attempt, installed in June, seems to be taking hold.
Rosemary in focus in the foreground.
