A collection of bits and bobs that I stopped to admire for a few second here and there – spanning the whole two weeks of my stay in Rome. Most of the examples below are doorknockers, but there are a couple of handles also, a fountain head and a floor drain. I kept wondering if there maybe isn't just as much of this great little stuff in San Francisco and my eyes are just less attuned to it. Perhaps so, but I tend to think Rome really is better supplied.
