Now that the London and Paris and Milan fashion weeks are all history once again, it is clear that my personal favorite collection out of them all for Spring 2012 has to be Ter et Bantine, designed by Italian mom and genius Manuela Arcari (above).
I like the color choices (well, the fabric choices altogether, really). I like that she put the models in flats. I like the way things fit and are constructed -- those parallel rows of sewn-down seams that open out! They remind me very much (and in a good way) of Jean Muir clothes from the 1970s.
