Today her parents are readjusting to everyday San Francisco life, but the celestial baby herself invariably hits the ground running (as the saying goes). To Mabel, transcontinental travel (including the flight home yesterday) is just like any other fun day full of ceaseless but always purposeful activity. I will have a chance to see her tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday) and am already counting the hours.
