Union Square Rendezvous
While we lingered in Union Square waiting for Daddy to be done at the dentist, Mabel Watson Payne discovered these two ornamental bronze rain-spouts. They enchanted her, and they enchanted the two white plastic creatures who came along on this afternoon downtown San Francisco excursion.
Once in a while (as in the picture immediately above) I accidentally catch on virtual film an expression moving briefly across these soft and pliable little features, an expression I did not notice in real life, and I won't (as in the picture above) be able to read what it means at all. This is a subject of great and unsatisfiable curiosity.
