Monday is the family celebration of my daughter's birthday. I had acquired her present in two separate parts over the past month or so – but it always only dawns on me at the last minute that a
gift needs to be
gift-wrapped. I finished wrapping these two objects just as the afternoon sun made a direct entrance through the kitchen windows, and that gave me the idea to make this picture.
