Grandma brought the car to the BART station in the East Bay. Her new car has a Mabel-seat permanently installed in the back of it, and Mabel climbed right in on her own. Daddy did up the straps. The yellow dinosaur seemed to be living in the car now. It was in love with Mabel's sandals, which matched itself. Years ago this yellow dinosaur belonged to Mabel's mother and lived on her bed. After that, it lived for 25 years in a box on a closet shelf. Then (one recent day) it got out of the box! And a new life began.
