Edible Flowers
Friday while Mabel was still asleep (and it was raining and still dark outside) I arrived at her house for a good special day of playing and conversing and reading storybooks. Shortly after she woke up, Mabel conceived and built this arrangement of edible flowers out of Duplo blocks. While making it she explained to me how some flowers are edible even though many others are not edible. My only contribution was to help in locating the small square blocks that made the base of each flower, because Mabel wanted specific colors for each one (though how she decided on these colors was a mystery she did not explain).
