Venetian artist Giandomenico Tiepolo (1727-1804) – son of the more famous Giambattista – spent his early career documenting and continuing the pictorial practices of his father. These etchings of the 1740s by Giandomenico, based for the most part on his father's frescoes, are from collections at the Victoria & Albert Museum.and at the Rijksmuseum.

In 1749 Giandomenico etched a complete Stations of the Cross (selections below) from his own designs, though inflected by his father's commanding style.
