Color Interlude

In the middle of my Mabel-time on Friday afternoon I switched briefly to color – for the sake of the rubber band embellishments that have come to adorn a pair of wooden toys (we saw giraffe just a few days ago with only a simple red collar of tape).

But for purposes of recording this baby's own rarefied features, the reflected sunlight seemed too harsh rendered in color, and I hastened back to black and white. Later, looking back, I decided the two semi-washed-out pictures below were still appealing-enough to salvage.
