Tomorrow afternoon there should be another proper chance to take the new camera out into the world. It is like a musical instrument that I have hardly had time yet to practice. There were only a few spare minutes today to carry it around the apartment and peer through the viewfinder and try to make out if a picture could be fashioned from this or that or the other thing. Out of twenty attempts, I only got one (above) that I could tolerate (f3.2 at 1/250 second). But in the process I also possibly fastened a few useful photographic facts down a little more firmly.
